Pretty Puppy!

Ever since we fenced in our backyard Daniel and Nathan have wanted to get a dog! Daniel always said he thought a jack russell would make a great pet for nathan. I on the other hand thought they would be too hyper for me and kaylee. Well, last week my dad called and said their was a family in Bryceville that had Jack Russell pup for sale. My dad also loves the jack russell breed and agreed with daniel about having one as our first pet. Daniel was excited but we didn't tell the kids. During the week my dad went out and looked at the pups and the parents. He let us know that there was a 'beautiful but timid' girl and a sweet boy left.

Today, we headed out to Bryceville to see the puppies. After dropping off the kids and picking up my dad we headed to the owners home. After spending some time first with the mom and dad I realized that both weren't as jumpy as I had preconceived but still had the energy that I thought Nathan would enjoy. Next the owners brought the pups out one at a time, We enjoyed them all but only two were for sell; we decided on the girl. She has already warmed up to us as well as nathan and kaylee 'child' like handling. For today, she seemed mild and only playful when we engage her. Her name at the original owners home was wrinkles but at this time she didn't fit that and we wanted nathan and kaylee to have a part in the name picking. Nathan finally decided to call her belle, kaylee liked ariel but I quickly went for belle. They have had a fun first day with our new puppy belle and we are excited to have the day tomorrow to play with her!

Welcome HOME Belle, born November 06, 2008 and adopted by our family March 08, 2009 at 4 months of age!!
